Never correct your leader. David respectfully disagreed with Saul. Saul told David he was too young to fight the giant. David told Saul about the lion and the bear. It’s okay to respectfully disagree, but never tell your leader he is wrong.
That’s not your place. In other words it’s okay to offer a different opinion, but never put yourself in a position of authority over your leader. It’s best if you do this privately. Many pastors are strong-willed people. (They have to be.) Strong-willed people like to be in control. Always give the multiple choice test. Never present your solution like, “You have to do this” as if it is the only choice. Instead offer several choices to pick from.
